Casa de los Pinos— House of the Pines. The name arrived easily, which is usually the sign that it’s right. The scrub pines of the Outer Cape are impossible to ignore: gnarled, silver-barked, bent by decades of salt wind into something that looks almost deliberate.
We found Casa de los Pinos in 2021, drawn to a part of the world we’d been visiting for years and weren’t ready to keep leaving. We were ready to draft its next chapter — there is something particular about learning what a place wants to become.
Since then, we have reshaped and updated and made it our own. Now there’s a list of things still to do that we add to as often as we cross things off. We’re glad you’re here.
